In today's world, with hectic lifestyles, the only thing really important is – Balance in life…!
Though people often say that they have a balance in their life… very few people actually possess it. However; it can be developed by everyone.. - With self control, controlling our emotions and not getting influenced by events in the surrounding environment. Simply put, all you need is a bit of common sense and good judgment and not let the outside world affect your inner world. There have been instances, when we let emotions overwhelm us completely; haven’t there? Lost our temper? Screamed? Given in to instantaneous bouts of irritation? Showed Impatience? Many such more and then regretted later...? All this does is just really slowly eats/sucks up on all your energy and leaves you drained. Even for every day menial work. Try this To see where you stand – Ask these questions to yourself and see, to how many questions you can give yourself a positive answer: Do you shout at your children, spouse, co-workers or employees? Do you get angry with normal situations? Are you happy with this situation? Do you let your work, the weather, other people behavior and attitude, the movies or the newspapers influence the way you feel and think. Do outside events distract your mind and make you think about them, instead of what you choose to think about? This is loss of inner balance and lack of inner peace. Lack of inner balance causes fluctuations of the emotions, lack of decisiveness and wasting time on unnecessary thoughts, emotions and actions. We have the remedy… yes… Here’s what you can do – The first 30-45 minutes after waking up in the morning are vital to shape up your whole day. They influence your mood SO you have to use them in the right way. Throughout the day, try to maintain slow and steady reactions to things. Doesn't mean you have to be indifferent about everything, but instead don't react to things quickly, hold it back and try to calm yourself down, you can take a few deep breathes, count upto 10 and then react. It helps to calm you down, to react better and will give a better outcome to the situation. On the other hand, if people are complaining about you, if they tell you things that you wouldn't want to hear, don't react immediately… Instead hold back your anger and instead of getting insulted, try to approach it with a broader perspective. If the other person's words are really important and if they really matter to you, maybe you should think wisely and heed to her/his advice or opinion, instead of retorting in anger. From time immemorial, we always have been hearing that life is full of ups and downs and we always have to move on. However, very few people take this into consideration and behave accordingly. Neither you should lament upon your past mistakes nor should you worry too much about the future. No matter what happens there will always be a way out. Seeking help from others in such situations is advised. The other major stress point is – guilt. Life does move on you know. You shouldn't think too much about your wrongdoing or mistake, as it has already happened. A wiser way is to take the learning from what has happened. But – remember to take the learning and improve from there on. Merely accepting a mistake committed isn’t going to bring salvation. Ultimately, after every fall, you will definitely rise up. Develop inner strength And the Ability to make the Mind Quiet… through concentration exercises… meditation… de-attachment… visualization or affirmations… … will take you a long way toward attaining and maintaining inner balance and peace.

If these two factors are accomplished, you may even look 20 years younger. How would you do that? Well; there are amazingly healthy, natural and non-harmful ways to do it: Maintain a Good Posture Do you get it why? Simply because enough blood flows towards your face, it's that simple. It’s not always the difficult path that makes you beautiful...!! there are times when life churns us - while delivering the toughest times.
the tough time is not the issue. that's usually fine... bearable till a point it's the after effects that kill us. the carrying of that burden of that tough time. the burden can be in the form of anger, regret, guilt... name a negative emotion and you may be carrying the burden sub-consciously. however; if you are consciously aware of any such burden - let it go. you won't get an inch further in life by carrying it within. you may of course progress on a superficial level but deep down it'll keep you statutory. and that won't allow you freedom. freedom of smiling joyously. smelling the air. feeling the raindrops. and believe me- it's not worth it. your life will come to it's end with a blink of an eye and you will not have anytime to breathe it. instead of regrets at the fag end of your life... learn to let it go. let go of the negatives... let go of anything that's holding you. free yourself. forgive that friend who didn't care. let go of what your mother thought. move on from the emotion of your bro's handling issues. free yourself from holding on to pettiness daily. learn to be vocal. voice your kindness. learn to grow beyond. learn to be more. practice forgiveness. breathe in the higher you. L.E.A.R.N. to L.E.T. G.O. you owe yourself that much. you deserve a beautiful life. |
